Hydroman® Submersible Solids Tailing Mining Pump for Pumping Mud Description:
Hydroman® Submersible Solids Tailing Mining Pump for Pumping Mud is mainly composed of three parts: pump wetted end parts, motor and sealing parts. The unique double mechnical sealing device can effectively balance the internal and external oil and protect the reliability of the mechanical seal. The motor adopts protection devices, such as overheating protection test and water detection protection, to ensure long-term good work under poor working conditions.
One of the most visible aspects of the mining industry are mine tailings or mine dumps. It is necessary to displace mine tailings to a location offsite of the mining operation so that it does not pile up and hinder the mining process. And the tailings often have very low or high pH which causes a lot of difficulty for centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Water is reclaimed from tailings ponds, lagoons and the downstream of minerals processing by vertical slurry pumps, horizontal slurry pump and submersible slurry pumps. Hydroman® offered a large selection of top-performing submersible slurry pumps and tailings pumps for a variety of industries and applications in lined and unlined tailings ponds, underground slurry and dewatering pumping, sumps, process pumps, and pumping the target mineral laden material, The heavy duty submersible solids mine tailings pumps are equipped with agitator that breaks down and re-suspends settled or compacted solids, allowing them to easily transfer a very high percentage of solids to water and submersible solids mine tailings also allow to pump low and high pH abrasive slurries without being worn down and losing suction.

Typical Hydroman® Submersible Solids Tailing Mining Pump for Pumping Mud Applications:
▪ Mine Pits Dewatering
Pit-installed pumps on pontoons or barges commonly use submersible mine dewatering pump. For booster stations submersible pumps connected in series, single-stage end-suction or multistage pumps can be used. These solutions can be provided in containerized units for ease of installation and transportation.
▪ Underground Mine Dewatering
Submersible underground mine pumps are used to remove water from mine faces nd stopes. Water is transported in stages to collection stations where larger pumps are located along the drift and ramp. Normally smaller submersible drainagepumps are used at the mine faces.
▪ Shaft bottom drainage
Mine water from all parts of the mine is collected by submersible dewatering mud pump in the shaft bottom sump and then transported to the main drainage pump station. The high-performance submersible electric slurry sludge pumps fulfill the requirements, meeting the demands for both high head and high volume
▪ Tailings Ponds and Mineral Recovery
The scarcity and cost of water means that wastewater treatment and recycling for reuse are important processes within mines. Water is reclaimed from tailings ponds, lagoons and the downstream of minerals processing by vertical sump slurry pump, horizontal sludge pump and submersible sand pumps.
▪ Water treatment
Minerals processing requires process water feed at various stages. The quality of the water is highly important and therefore some level of treatment is needed before it enters the process. A combination of submersible water treatment sludge pumps, horizontal process pumps and vertical mineral processing pumps are commonly used in the feed to the proces.
▪ Mine sites
Other common applications for pumps at mine sites are tire washing plants, washdown of plant and machinery, and dust suppression. These may be fed by submersible slurry pump.
