Tobee^® Slurry pump lantern restrictor is one of shaft seal parts with a ring or sleeve around a rotating shaft,  located between slurry pump impeller and packing ring, it works as a lantern ring, but requires more flushing water. There is an hole in the ring provides for forced feeding of oil or grease to bearing surfaces, It is designed for water sealing function for reducing leakage, Particularly the lantern ring is effective for cooling, and lubrication, It is usually used in packing seal and expeller seal.
