Tobee® Provides replacement SC and L series pump wet parts that are able to be interchangeable. Both types smaller pumps with Semi-open impellers. The material of the wet parts can be used as A05, A07, A33, A49, A51, A61, and natural rubber spares. Today we are talking about the A49 Alloy and rubber spares. They have the same function to prevent erosion and corrosion.
Tobee® supplies Alloy A49 is a heat-treated, corrosion-resistant white iron suitable for low pH corrosion duties, where erosive wear is also a problem. The alloy is particularly suitable for Flue Gas Desulphurisation (FGD) applications, where the pH is greater than 4. The alloy can also be used in other mildly acidic environments.
Alloy A49 is suitable for use in slurries containing sulphuric and nitric acids, or sodium hydroxide, within a pH range of 3 to 14. In particular, A49 is suitable for sulphuric acid slurries containing chlorides, and minor levels of fluorides. Further corrosion data is given in Figures 3 to 6.
