Hydroman® Hydraulic Submersible Suction Dredging Sand Pump with a built in agitator incorporating a head cutter is a high efficient and modular heavy-duty submersible dredge pump unit. This submersible pump unit has several dredging tools and connectors to adapt to every situation and environment. The head cutter also called dredging head is ideal for small-scale dredging projects in narrow canals, small reservoirs or harbours where only a few thousand cubic meters of material need to be removed and where employing a full-size dredger would prove impractical and uneconomical.
The challenge in a dredge job is to maximise the dredge pump’s mixture concentration, nevertheless, Submersible Dredge Pump with dredging head is designed to mixing heavy and thick sludges to enable them to be pumped and to keep solids in suspension so that they are pumped rather than settling to the bottom.
