Tobee® 1.5/1C-HH High Head Duty Slurry Pumps feature specialized impellers that provide hydraulic characteristics tailored to filter press feed applications.
Plate and frame filter presses are becoming more common in fines recovery applications in coal preparation and mining operations around the world. The slurry pumped into the press typically contains 30-40% solids by weight. These solids are ultrafine in nature and can cause severe and sometimes catastrophic wear on standard pumps supplied by many filter press manufacturers. But the HH series of slurry pumps, equipped with low specific speed impellers to reduce wear, heat build-up and many other factors that cause premature failure of other pumps, solved this problem.
Tobee® 1.5/1 C-HH Slurry Pump Design Features:
• High head, high pressure centrifugal end suction slurry pump design.
• Ductile iron fully lined casing provides durability, strength and long service life.
• Hyper wear resistance materials for longtime work life.
• Multi-stage high pressure operation allowed.
• Heavy duty construction with through-bolt design provides ease of maintenance and results in less down time.
• Large diameter, slow turning, high efficiency impellers result in maximum wear life and lower operating costs.
• Large, open internal passages maximize wear life and lower operating costs.
• Full flush gland, low flow, and dry running centrifugal seals reduce flush water usage minimizing pump operating costs.
Tobee® 1.5/1C-HH High Head Slurry Pumps Applications:
HH high head slurry pumps widely used for wet crushers, SAG mill discharge, ball mill discharge, rod mill discharge, Ni acid slurry, coarse sand, coarse tailings, phosphate matrix, minerals concentrate, heavy media, dredging, bottom/fly ash, lime grinding, oil sands, mineral sands, fine tailings, phosphoric acid, coal, flotation, sugar beets, process chemical, pulp and paper, FGD, waste water etc.
