Hydroman® Electric Submersible Dredger Discharge Sand Pump Description:
Hydroman® Electric Submersible Dredger Discharge Sand Pump for Tailings Recycling made to pump thick mud and other similarly viscous mixtures of liquids and solids, submersible sludge pumps are used for moving sludge or light slurry, tank clean-outs, trench and pond cleaning, mining dewatering operations, and various other applications. Submersible slurry pump is the catch-all of submersibles. Capable of pumping the most abrasive media with high solids content, submersible slurry pump is the workhorse for quarries and settling pond operations, these submersible slurry pumps are used for everything from dewatering to dredging. Sand is one of the most abrasive materials for any type of pump to manage. The beating of sand on the impeller, volute, and even the hose cause extreme wear and tear on pump components, Hydroman® submersible sand pump wear components are built with a high chromium iron, an extremely strong alloy that is mainly used in mining, milling, earth-handling, and manufacturing industries which require materials with exceptional wear and corrosion resistance. Hydroman® has expertise in manufacturing a great variety of Submersible Sand, Sludge & Slurry Pumps as per the client's industrial requirements.

Hydroman® Electric Submersible Dredger Discharge Sand Pump Design Features:
▪ All Hydroman® Submersible Dredge pumps can run continuously as the stator housing is filled with oil dissipating the heat from the electrical winding ensuring that the stator winding would never burn out due to overheating.
▪ The oil in the stator housing has the additional benefit of lubricating the seals and bearings and in case of failure of the mechanical seals the contamination of the oil is detected by a moisture detector relays and before the liquid being pumped comes into contact with the electrical winding of the pump the pump is switched off and therefore the electrical winding can never burn out.
▪ The Hydroman® Submersible Dredge pump is also fitted with thermistors (or PT 100) to ensure that any mechanical failure of the bearings is detected.
▪ Any possible electrical flash inside the pump enclosure is prevented by having the pump enclosure under vacuum pressure and monitored by means of a pressure transmitter.
▪ All the above control features are built in an electrical control panel.
