Tobee® Alternative Andritz S series single-stage process centrifugal pumps are available with closed, semi-open or open impellers. These wear-resistant pumps are suitable for working with a wide range of media. Depending on the type of impeller, they can transport contaminated liquids with amount of solids up to 8%. They are used as process pumps in paper, chemical, sugar, energy, food industries, water, sewage treatment, drainage or other systems.
ANDRITZ S series centrifugal pumps are available with closed, semi-open or open impellers in a highly wear-resistant design. The S series pumps are suitable for conveying many different media. Depending on the impeller design, they can convey slightly contaminated and contaminated media with some solids and content up to consistencies up to 8%. Thus, operating as processes pumps, they cover a wide range of applications in the pulp and paper, mining, offshore, power, food, and chemical industry. Additionally, ANDRITZ single-stage centrifugal pumps can also be used in water supply, waste water treatment, desalination plants, and irrigation as well as drainage. A modular system ensures high availability, enables the use of proven components and reduces the number of spare parts to be held in stock. Paper pulp Pumps Advantages:
1. High efficiency and energy saving: The operating efficiency is 3-10 percentage points higher than that of ordinary pulp pumps on average, and the energy saving and consumption reduction reach 15-30%.
2. Good cavitation performance and long service life: the actual service life can be 2-3 times longer than that of ordinary pulp pumps;
3. High concentration and no clogging: the pulp concentration can reach 6%;
4. Reasonable structure and convenient maintenance: The pump head part adopts a front and rear door-opening structure. There is no need to disassemble the pipeline during maintenance. The pump can be disassembled and repaired by simply moving the motor backward.
Tobee™ Andritz Pump Spare Parts Design Features:
Bearing assembly--A large diameter shaft with short overhang minimizes deflection and contributes to long bearing life. Only four through bolts are required to hold the cartridge type housing in the frame.
Liners--Easily replaceable liners are bolted, not glued, to the casing for positive attachment and ease of maintenance. Hard metal liners are completely interchangeable with pressure molded elastomers. Elastomer seal rings back all liner joints.
Casing--Casing halves of cast or ductile iron with external reinforcing ribs provide high operating pressure capabilities and an extra measure of safety.
Impeller--front and rear shrouds have pump out vanes that reduce recirculation and seal contamination. Hard metal and molded elastomer impellers are complete interchangeable. Cast in impeller threads require no inserts or nuts. High efficiency and high head designs are also available.
Throatbush--Wear is reduced and maintenance simplified by the use of tapered mating faces to allow positive accurate alignment during assembly and simple removal.
