F6110A05A Volute Liner is one of wear parts of 8x6 FAH Horizontal Slurry Pumps.
Slurry Pump Volute Liners are fully interchangeable with AH/HH/L/M slurry pump volute lines, It is also one of wetted parts for slurry pumps. It forms a pump chamber with throat bush and frame plate liner insert and so slurry will wash them, Slurry pump volute Liner is a curved funnel increasing in area to the discharge port. It is often used together with impeller for slurry pumps. As the area of the cross-section increases, the volute reduces the speed of the liquid and increases the pressure of the liquid. The main purposes of a volute casing is to help balance the hydraulic pressure on the shaft of the slurry pump. materials can be high chrome alloy, Natural Rubber, Polyurethane for different working applications.
For the chrome alloy volute liners, the standard is High chrome Alloy(27% Cr), it can be used from PH 5 to 12, and its hardness can be to HRC65, which is a very good choice for slurry control and transport. But in some conditions, the PH may lower than 5, then we try to use A49, it can lower to PH4, mostly used in FGD processing, Tobee offers the full chrome alloy parts including A03, A04, A05, A06, A07, A12, A14, A25, A33, A49, A51, A61 etc.
