100RV-SPR Rubber Lined Vertical Pump packages for a mining operation to pump "dirty" water from a 1800mm depth sump.

The SP/SPR vertical slurry pump is a vertical type slurry pump. The inlet is oriented vertically and downward on one side of the vertical pump, and the outlet is oriented vertically and upward on the other side. It composed of the lower filter platform, pump body, impeller, shaft, guard plate, and bracket. The upper part of the SP/SPR pump is supported by bearings; the pump is installed under the liquid, and no shaft seal is used. It uses a belt drive (BD) and direct drive (CD) transmission type. The depth of the immersion liquid in the standard size range can be adjusted according to the needs of the user.

Features:

Impellers – Unique double suction impellers; fluid flow enters the top as well as the bottom. Wear resistant alloys, polyurethane and moulded elastomer impellers are interchangeable.
Bearing Assembly – The assembly is grease lubricated and sealed by labyrinths; the upper is grease purged and the lower protected by a special flinger. The upper or drive end bearing is a parallel roller type whilst the lower bearing is a double taper roller with preset end float. This high performance bearing arrangement and robust shaft eliminates the need for a lower submerged bearing.
Casing – Has a simple bolt-on attachment to the base of the column. The metal vertical pumps have a heavy walled abrasive resistant high chrome alloy casing. Rubber vertical pumps have a molded rubber casing adhered to sturdy metal structures.
Upper Strainer - Drop-in metal mesh, snap-on elastomer or polyurethane. Strainers fit in column openings which prevent overly large particles and unwanted refuse from entering casing of the pump.
Lower Strainer - Bolted metal or polyurethane for the metal pump, moulded snap-on elastomer for rubber pump, which protect the pump from oversize particles.

Installation:

Mounting the vertical pumps as simple as four through-bolts on the pump mounting plate. The motor is fully supported on the pump base itself, and can be oriented in either a shaft-up or shaft-down position depending on customer preference and space availability.

Applications:

Tobee vertical spindle pumps can be used for gravel and sand, mineral processing, chemical processing, coal preparation, effluent handling, floor sump pumping, mill scale pumping, pumping of machine tool cuttings and almost every other tank, floating dewatering or other floating pump platforms.
