Tobee® A49 material Impeller F6058A49 of 6 vanes with closed type can be used for 8x6E-AH Centrifugal Slurry Pumps. Slurry Pump Impeller is the main component in centrifugal slurry pumps which has vanes to impart and direct the centrifugal force to the slurry.
Depending on site application, slurry pump impeller selection can be crucial to pump performance. Slurry applications can be especially hard on the impeller of slurry pump because of their abrasive nature. In order for your process to operate efficiently and stand up to the test of time, you must choose the proper slurry pump impeller.
Slurry pump impellers are balanced to meet the acceptance criteria determined by the dynamic effects from variables such as speed, peripheral velocity and shaft stiffness. The slurry impeller unbalance mass is the result of there being an eccentricity between the impeller center of gravity and the center of rotation. This eccentricity is unavoidable with the variations in alignment of a casting pattern or the positioning of a reinforcing into an elastomer mould. This eccentricity may be very small but could still amount to an unbalance that exceeds the acceptance criteria for the slurry pump impeller.

Tobee® offers three different types of slurry pump impellers: open, closed, and semi-closed. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses, depending on the application. Some are better for solids handling, others are better for high efficiency. To learn more about the specifics of each type of slurry pump impeller.
